Hello again!
You may remember my last post here for Chain and Vine, and today I’m coming back to you with a lovely new skin by Lyric Demina: Lael.
It is a special edition skin for summer, what means it doesn’t come with the normal skintones Chain and Vine skins usually do. To make things more clear, let me quote Lyric herself: “The darkest tone of this skin is the darkest I think a person can be while still claiming to be blonde”. Therefor, it still comes in 7 tones, but they’re more tan than dark at the end (tone 1 = lightest, tone 7 = darkest). The one I’m showing you today is tone 5, an adorable tan tone. With one makeup it has been available as a groupgift recently.
In your box of skins you’ll get some extras: a shape, brow shaper and lashes. The skin itself comes in busty and natural version (you can see busty in the first, natural in the second pic). And then again with dark, light and red brows. Wearing tone 5 I’m always using the dark brow option. Beyond that the makeups feature muted and vivid eyeshadows for you to chose a colorful or more natural look and all of that is painted on the skins directly, so no need to wear a lot of tattoo layers.

Last but not least I want to show you tone 2 with red brows, because those are a new feature in Chain and Vine skins and haven’t been available before Lael.

Also new, and equally stunning as the skins I have featured before (it’s first in, first blogged these days, sorry peeps!) is Glam Affair’s Layla. Layla is available in 5 skintones and 14 make ups for each tone. Options are light and dark brows, hair base and the clean version of the skintone you have purchased a skin from.

Brand new and fully released is Gaia atPXL Creations. For group members, also the Gaia shape is available in the VIP room, with the usual 10% discount.
Gaia is available in 6 skintones and has natural lips and 3 (classic) eye options on the base skin, as well as 3 cleavage options, 3 eyebrow options and freckle options to accomodate the SL residents who are still reluctant to use a viewer which supports the use of multiple (tattoo) layers.
If you DO use multiple tattoo layers, the possibilities are almost limitless. Hart provides you with extra hairbases (normal and buzz cut) a full body freckle tattoo. You can purchase as many as 15 different eye shadows and lipsticks to give you maximum liberty.

I wish I had more time to do bigger features about the skins that the designers in the Skin Addiction group release, but unfortunately, especially in these days of skin expo and the huge amount of new releases, I need to find a way to be time efficient and also I need to make choices about what to feature and what not or I would have no RL left.
Sakura is available in 4 skintones and a variety of options on the tattoo layer for lipsticks (4), eye shadows (6) , hair base black and matching mani/pedis on all useful layers as well as a cleavage option on the base skin.

And then there is Dany. While I chose to portray her as a lovely pale red head, The really special feature of Dany is that she is a natural very pale blonde with dito eyebrows!
Also available in 4 skintones, Dany has 4 eye shadow tattoo options as well as 6 lipsticks and matching mani/pedis.
Extra on Dany is a larger diversity on the hairbase/eyebrows/pubes options. The base skin comes with the very pale blonde brows, but aside from that there is the choice from black, dark brown and red as well.

CheerNo last release Lian features Dark, Blond and Ginger hairbase in four skin tones: Light, Pale, Sunny and Tan.

The skin and shape expo opens on May 10th and runs through the 20th. Featuring both skin and shape makers, this is the place to come to to create a whole new you. More than 60 creators in total, spread out over 2 sims, should make a pleasant shopping experience. Each creator has an item out with 50% of the proceeds going to Direct Relief International.

AtomicBambi has a new skin out, Alice. Alice comes dark or light brows and each choice offers 3 skintones.
There are 6 make ups available and loose lip tattoos so you can combine the eyes and lips that you want. Also there are 4 teeth tattoos, varying from slightly parted lips, to the popular teeth showing pout.
Last bit not least, there are also hairbase and freckle options as well as a push up option available for Alice.

Tuli has recently released her latest skin Sara. Sara is available in 10 (!) skin tones and comes with 6 different eye shadow options on the skin . The 12 lipsticks are on the tattoo layer.
