Adam ‘n Eve: Sakura and Dany

I wish I had more time to do bigger features about the skins that the designers in the Skin Addiction group release, but unfortunately, especially in these days of skin expo and the huge amount of new releases, I need to find a way to be time efficient and also I need to make choices about what to feature and what not or I would have no RL left.

Sakura is available in 4 skintones and a variety of options on the tattoo layer for lipsticks (4), eye shadows (6) , hair base black and matching mani/pedis on all useful layers as well as a cleavage option on the base skin.

And then there is Dany. While I chose to portray her as a lovely pale red head, The really special feature of Dany is that she is a natural very pale blonde with dito eyebrows!

Also available in 4 skintones, Dany has 4 eye shadow tattoo options as well as 6 lipsticks and matching mani/pedis.

Extra on Dany is a larger diversity on the hairbase/eyebrows/pubes options. The base skin comes with the very pale blonde brows, but aside from that there is  the choice from black, dark brown and red as well.

Skin and Shape Expo 2011

The skin and shape expo opens on May 10th and runs through the 20th. Featuring both skin and shape makers, this is the place to come to to create a whole new you. More than 60 creators in total, spread out over 2 sims, should make a pleasant shopping experience. Each creator has an item out with 50% of the proceeds going to Direct Relief International.

AtomicBambi: Alice

AtomicBambi has a new skin out, Alice.  Alice comes dark or light brows and each choice offers 3 skintones.

There are 6 make ups available and loose lip tattoos so you can combine the eyes and lips that you want. Also there are 4 teeth tattoos, varying from slightly parted lips, to the popular teeth showing pout.

Last bit not least, there are also hairbase and freckle options as well as a push up option available for Alice.

Comfortable in My Skin Photo Contest

Skin Addiction is hosting its very first photo contest in celebration of 3000 members and their new headquarters! The title of the contest is: “Comfortable in My Skin”, which may be interpreted however you wish, as long as the picture remains PG and you are wearing a skin (any skin) from one of Skin Addiction’s designers! Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. The contest is open to anyone who is a member of the Second Life group, Skin Addiction. The contest runs May 4th through May 18th, with a party where winners will be announced on the 20th of May.

How to participate:

-Join inworld group Skin Addiction (MUST be a member)
-Take your photo wearing a skin from one of the group’s designers (new or old, doesn’t matter)
-Post picture to Flickr group “Skin Addiction“ (you must own the rights to the photo, or have permission by photographer to use in contest)
-Tag the photo “comfortableinmyskin contest” (if it’s not tagged properly it will be ineligible)
-State in the description of the photo what skin you are wearing and a working slurl to shop, as well as your full SL name

-Only 2 photos will be accepted (submit any more and we will consider only the first two).
-Photos MUST be PG–NO full nudity!
-The winning pictures, as well as a few others will be chosen to showcase in world at the Skin Addiction’s headquarters.
By submitting your photo to the contest, you are agreeing with these terms.

SA Photo Contest

Skin Addiction is soon nearing 3000 members, and has a new headquarters! As a way to celebrate and decorate, we will be hosting a photo contest titled: “Comfortable in My Skin”. Already the prize list is staggering, so be sure to join in order to participate! More details involving this contest will be out this weekend.

Tuli Sara

Tuli has recently released her latest skin Sara. Sara is available in 10 (!) skin tones and comes with 6 different eye shadow options on the skin . The 12 lipsticks are on the tattoo layer.

Sara has natural dark brows, but blond and light brown are available on the tattoo layer, as are various cleavage en- and de-hancers. Last but not least, Tuli also provides you with several mascara options on the tattoo layer for maximum personalisation of Sara’s look!

Adam ‘n Eve: Tanisha

Adam ‘n Eve is one of SL’s skin brands which really have  pretty steady flow of new releases of quality skins. Tanisha is one of the latest. Available in 4 skintones, Tanisha is a dark beauty.

Also, for your mixing and matching pleasures, Tanisha comes with  various eye and lip make up tattoo layers, so you can play with your make ups as much as you want (providing you use a viewer that allows multiple layers!)

As always… if you consider buying Tanisha, please always try a demo first. She may look different on you because we don’t have the same shape and my windlight settings may also influence the look  of the skin and it’s likely different for you as well.

CaraBella is the brand from Momo Leung, the avatar formerly known as Aden Bryer who may of you will still know for the fabulous hair and several skin lines. Momo has recently launched a new skin, Arianna, which I’m proud to feature on this blog for all you skin addicts!

 

Arianna is available in 5 skin tones and 7 make ups + a base skin for each skin tone and options for lighter and darker eyebrows on the tattoo layer. Also CaraBella has cleavage enhancers and dehancers available.
