New Group for Skin Creators

In an effort to help designers find legitimate templates to work from, and to help combat the plethora of botted ones, I have created a Skin Template Resource group. It is open to anyone to join but in order to become a designer, you must go through an application process as well as pay an application fee. If you would like to join the group please search Skin Template Resource in groups.

Our new official female SA blogger

Kouralee

I would like to welcome Kouralee Resident to the Skin Addiction team as our new official female blogger! It was not an easy task selecting the new SA blogger as we had many great applications, which I spent several hours agonizing over deciding which one would be the best fit for Skin Addiction. I believe with Kouralee’s passion and experience, she will be a great asset to the Skin Addiction team.

Over the coming weeks you will become familiar with Kouralee’s work as she is looking forward to sharing new releases and skin information with you all. You will find Kouralee focusing on 2 tasks here on the blog. The first one is what we will call SA’s Weekly Roundup. Every Friday, Kouralee will take all the notices sent the previous Friday-Thursday and do a brief recap here on the blog of what news there’s to be had in the skin world. The next one will be in-depth features of new/upcoming releases from our resident Skin Addiction designers. These posts will focus on what each new skin(s) offers in terms of tones, appliers, makeups, etc. Each post made, will also be shared with our inworld group, so nothing is missed for our skin addicts.

I would like to thank everyone who applied to be an SA blogger, you all made it a hard choice for me, and I think all of you are wonderful!

What it means to be a Skin Addiction blogger:

Designers have the option to send their new releases to the SA bloggers for an in-depth feature (NOT a review) which covers aspects of their skin lines which a simple ad isn’t able to convey.

A weekly round up of all skin related news to be published on the blog. You would take the notices that had been sent out for the week and do a brief synopsis of what was going on, on the blog.

Skin Addiction Seeks 2 New Female Bloggers

SA BLOGGER SEARCH

It’s that time again! Skin Addiction is seeking 2 new female bloggers to blog skin features from participating Skin Addiction designers.

Requirements:

*Must take high resolution pictures
*Be passionate about sharing skin releases with fellow skin addicts
*Willing to work within certain time constraints (general rule of thumb is to blog within a week of receiving)
*Be adaptable (willing to tweak own shape or even put on a different shape that will highlight the skin to its best advantage)
*Have experience working with wordpress and blogging in general
*Ability to take a quality picture without photoshopping.
