Skin Addiction is the premier skin resource group in Second Life. With over a 100 designers in one group, the group covers a broad spectrum of styles. Designers who specialize in Men, Women, Fantasy, Petite and more are all represented.
The Skin Showcase event, is a special and new type of event for designers to showcase exclusive skins that they feel best represent their brand. Set in a park like setting with trails leading people to explore and discover perhaps new to them brands while also grabbing new skins from some of their favorite brands.
Also gifts will be available to members of the Skin Addiction group, which has open enrollment. Just need to wear the Skin Addiction group tag to receive them.
Opening May 25th and lasting 2 weeks, till June 10th.

My UglyDorothy at Skin Showcase
Sopha Portal has put out skins for both men and women at the Skin Addiction Skin Showcase. I am showing, of course, her men’s skin.
I would call this more an alterna-skin. It’s got that great hand-drawn alternative look that some guys really want. I didn’t do much here—threw some hair on, a sweater and jeans. This is the kind of skin that likes a casual look. I am guessing some guys could do a lot in making a unique and awesome avatar with this as a base.
I am trying a seductive look here, but it’s hard in this skin and outfit. I look like my little brother, Blake. I am guessing he could do this better than I did.

Izzie’s skin, Delusional, for the Skin Showcase comes in caramel, deep tan, tan, sunkissed, or pale. Each skin has 4 different brow colors (dark, light, red, and blond) and also a cleavage option. Zanzo at Skin Showcase
The Skin Showcase for Skin Addiction is coming up soon and I got a chance to see the sim.
We took photos at lots of great vistas around the sim, which has been decorated in a natural motif so all the attention goes to the skins. The skins are on easels around the sim for ease of viewing—it’s pretty cleverly done. Each skin maker has made an exclusive skin for the event and several are offering discounted or gifted skins for Skin Addiction members (join at secondlife:///app/group/254db099-7966-1350-5766-c977fb2da5b3/about).
You know how I do this… I strip down to nothing so you can see the details of the skin and finally give you a close up of the face. In this case I am wearing the skin that is being offered by Zanzo, a well drawn skin with options for shaved or pubic hair. He puts these great eyes with it too.
Don’t tell Voshie I stripped on her sim. I just had to see a man about a horse….
